 Experience
Ms. Garrison is an attorney with the law firm of Maciorowski, Sackmann & Ulrich. Prior to that she was an associate in the Chicago office of Seyfarth, Shaw, Fairweather & Geraldson and represented management in employment litigation including workers' compensation and retaliatory/wrongful discharge matters. Ms. Garrison began her legal career as a staff attorney for a commissioner at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission before becoming department head of the Legal Department at the Commission. In that capacity, she oversaw the drafting of Commission decisions by a staff of attorneys and paralegals. Much of her current work involves appeals of Commission decisions to both circuit and appellate courts, allowing her continued use of her writing skills.
